In periods where new mixes were posted, traffic on Horizon Deep would be right up at the hosting companies’ limit of a whopping 800 GB per month!
To date I have received two donations. Count them, two. The total is about $20 or so. I started this site to spread the love, so it doesn’t bother me, but it does say a lot about our society.
People from just about every country in the world have downloaded mixes. The majority of visitors come from Europe, North America and South Africa.

So I haven’t put up a mix of my own in nearly a year now and I have a growing feeling that house music is slowly dying inside me. It really saddens me to admit this, but there is no point denying it any longer. Passion for other interests has overshadowed my love for deep house – a day I thought would never come! You live and learn. Horizon Deep was a phase of my life that I really enjoyed but that has now come to an end. The mix that I just posted from DJ M is the final addition to a project that gave me great joy and I hope that you all enjoyed the fruits of my labour.

I will be leaving the site online and in its present form until I think up another use for this domain. For those of you who are not aware, there are a total of 24 mixes on the site, dating back to January 2005. If you haven’t downloaded them all yet, I suggest you do it now, while they are still around. Remember to use a download manager because my hosting company sucks, but they are cheap.

This mix has been a long time in the making, as I strove for perfection in every aspect. It contains some of my most favourite house tracks, the kind that you find yourself humming when you wake up in the morning and that stay with you the whole day.
